If you want to search for previous chapters, feel free to visit My KPOP Memories Timeline ~ 26th January 2014 (Sunday) Early morning 9.30am, friend A and me arrived at SBS for AOA "Miniskirt" pre-record of Inkigayo. HOWEVER............... Due to a lot of delays, SBS couldn't arranged a time slot for AOA. So we around 20 fans and FNC staffs waited outside SBS, from 9.30am until 3pm, where the temperature was -7 degree celcius, some more we waited at outdoor! Outdoor! OUTDOOR! we were totally tortured by SBS........... At 3pm, only SBS let us in to watch the live broadcast of Inkigayo. After Inkigayo ended, we gathered at outside of SBS again and went through another torturing 1 hour plus, only entered SBS again for next week pre-recording. (Since Korean New Year was coming soon........) Since it was pre-recording, so no other fans except us AOA fans, we all stood at the rock zone, I was at the left front of the stage, directly facing Choa at the start of "Miniskirt"~ AOA performed two times, one for rehearsal, one for the exact recording, and I almost died because of nose bleeding LOL After that, we fans and the FNC staffs took subway together to Gimpo Lotte Mall, for fansign event~ WOW! After blew by cold wind the whole day, I felt like I was in heaven inside the Gimpo Lotte Mall, SO WARM~~~ After we reached the fansign venue, AOA members also arrived shortly, and fansign event started! Same like previous fansign events, Choa was the 1st member to sign. This time my seat number was NO.72, so I waited quite long for my turn~ Finally my turn~ "O.....""Cho....." Both Choa and me tried to talk at the same time, then Choa smiled and let me speak first. So, I gave Choa another chocolates for present~ Then, Choa's turn to speak:"The chocolates that you gave yesterday were very delicious, we already finished eating!" "Already?" I was surprised. "En!" Choa nodded, opened the album and saw my small paper, I wrote there:"I didn't sleep yesterday night." "Wae an cha yo?"(Why you didn't sleep?) Choa asked with care. "I was too happy yesterday, so couldn't fall sleep."I answered. Choa smiled, then asked: "Just now did you come for recording? Waited outside for so long, must be very cold right?" "Yeah, my country always summer for the whole year, so here is very very very cold~" I looked at Choa, and continued:"But is okay, I did all this for you." Choa smiled and glanced at me. Then is time to move, so Choa shook hand with me and we said goodbye to each other......... Next was Hyejeong. Hyejeong took the album and saw the small paper I wrote to Choa, she asked:"Why you didn't sleep?" Hyejeong ah.........that small paper was not for you............... Anyway, since she already saw it, so I just answered:"I was too happy yesterday~" So Hyejeong not only signed, but also added a message:"Today must sleep!" Next was Chanmi. Chanmi straight away asked:"You didn't sleep yesterday?" "How did you know?"I was shocked. "I overheard the conversation between you and Hyejeong eonni."Chanmi answered. No wonder............. So Chanmi also added a message:"Sleeping is important!" Next was Yuna. Yesterday I told her about my work, so today I told her that except my daily work, I also doing other things. (only Yuna knew about the details~) "Motsi soyo."Yuna praised me. At last, we said :"Saehae bok mani batesae yo."(Happy New Year) to each other. Next was Mina. I quickly explained to her that I am not Japanese people, so please don't speak Japanese language to me again like the day before. Mina only knew that she was confused yesterday, so she learnt the language from my country, and said:"Aku cinta padamu." Alright, I forgive you~ Last was Jimin. I told Jimin that she actually did something which made me feel touched last time. At year 2013, when AOA members came to Malaysia for interviews, Jimin was the first member who saw my AOA plank card and waved at me~ I told her:"Please come to Malaysia again." Jimin:"Nae! tasi olgae yo."(I hope to go again.) Me:"There are a lot of fans waiting at Malaysia." Then we shook hand and said good bye to each other. Back to my seat and opened my album, I saw that Jimin added a message too:"Kuk kiyok hal kaeyo."(I will remember.)

After the fansign event, I still have 7 days to stay at Korea, however, I didn't expect that I only gotten to see AOA one more time only....................... Also, because I was tortured by SBS the whole day, so I started to have SBS phobia, and always dislike going to Inkigayo at Sunday~ Thanks for reading. Today I would like to write something related with KPOP according to my own experience~ When you started to like a certain idol group, which stage of career they are at? Just debuted? Starting to have a bit of popularity? After winning trophy at music show? After becoming worldwide popular? From my own opinion, for international fans who do not know Korean language, and will not purposely fly to Korea to see idols, the best timing will be when there are kind people who willing to sub for the idol group. So no matter which variety show the idols attended, as long as there is sub, then there will be no problem to understand what the idols said, and able to fully enjoy the show~~~ However, for those international fans who always fly to Korea to see idols, and also local fans, the best timing to chase idols would be totally different. So what is the best timing for them? Maybe a lot of people will think that the answer is when the group just debuted.......... Even me also thought like that at first, since there are a lot of benefits to chase the idols who just debuted: 1)No need to fight with other fans for the limited fan seats of music shows, no matter which music shows you are almost guaranteed to enter, can watch until you get bored and scared to go music shows~ (Yeah is true, I scare to attend the live broadcast, especially Show Champion and M countdown which we need to stand until the end of live broadcast, also Simply Kpop which sometimes took super long time to record. I only scared of live broadcast though, I still like to attend pre-recording~) 2)Easier for the idols to remember you. Since the idols just debuted, the amount of fans might be less than 10, so very easy to remember each fan. Also, the feeling when the idol thanked you for the fan letter, and said that you are the 1st one who gave her hand-written letter~~~ (My examples are AOA Choa, original MINX members from DREAMCATCHER, SONAMOO Minjae, and GOOD DAY members~ 3)A lot of fan services. Since just debuted, the company wanted to attract more new fans, so they will distribute a lot of gifts when you came to join their recording, for examples like special photocards, hand-written message, signed polaroid and so on. (That's why I have so many special photocards, I even have more than 10 polaroid photos of an idol group ~) 4) Spent less money. The fansign event for idols who just debuted usually are first come first serve, so we just need to buy one album only, no need to buy a box of albums and pray hardly that we will get picked~ (Plus.... after buying a box of albums, is actually quite troublesome to settle the albums......) 5) Easy communication. For example when the idols do Vlive or other live shows, the comments left by you are easier to be read by the idols, no need fight so hard with other fans~ (Reminded me of the time when DREAMCATCHER re-debut, they read so many my comments during Vlive, now? Too many fans so I don't want to waste my time and energy to leave any comment ..........) That's all for the benefits of going for idols which just debuted. Of course, I wasn't correct. There is a better timing, the.......... ........... ......... ..........trainee period~ Last time I didn't agree with it, since you have to sacrifice whole day just to wait for the trainees to come to company, and it is quite sasaeng. However, nowadays there are more and more survival shows for trainees, I realized that things started to be differently. For example, Star Empire Girls which is a group of female trainees under Star Empire Ent Company, they came out to do busking. (if you wondering who are them, MIXNINE participant Jang Hyekyeong is one of them~) Few days before I write this article, JTG Ent Company (BERRY GOOD company) even give chance for fans to chase the male trainees~~~ How?? Since unit group of BERRY GOOD is having comeback stage at M Countdown, with this song: (Let me promote BERRY GOOD a bit~)
The backup dancers are all JTG male trainees. Thus, not only fan seats for BERRY GOOD fans were provided, they also prepared fan seats for fans of the male trainees~ The fans just need to clarify that they coming to see the male trainees when registering for recording of music shows at BERRY GOOD official fan cafe~ So everyone go to music shows to see idols, the fans go to music shows to see the backup dancers~~~ According to my friend Y who attended BERRY GOOD pre-record at M Countdown, total 40 fans came. Out of them, 20 are BERRY GOOD fans, and the rest 20 are fans of male trainees LOL I think................... maybe next week JTG will hold a mini fan meeting for backup dancers LOL Of course, it is very obvious that JTG did it to promote their future boy group. By doing that, JTG also providing chances for fans to start chasing the idols before they debut~ At the future, will there be more and more companies trying to secure fans earlier during trainees period, and no need to wait until debuting? To be the top5 highest attendances for MINX music shows. After reaching Incheon airport at early morning, I went straight to where the place I staying, had a simple lunch and rested a while, then went to KBS. I wanted to wait for the re-entrance of MINX members. What is re-entrance? As everyone already knows, there is the famous Music Bank entrance where every idols walked into KBS and took pic by reporters and the fans. This happened at early morning since the rehearsal for Music Bank was scheduled at the morning. After the rehearsal, those idols who have no pre-recording will leave KBS, and come back again at afternoon for live broadcast, this is what I called as the re-entrance~ That time was summer season, luckily the sky was cloudy, so not very hot. Once I arrived at KBS, I met up with Taiwan friend J, and we waited together. My Singapore friends and Australia friend who were at Korea for MINX few weeks ago, all went back to their own countries........ so I felt like a bit different than before. At that time, another bunch of my friends came to Korea, but yeah, they were there not for MINX~ Fried J and me waited for more than half an hour, finally we saw that the MINX members reached and walking into KBS~ I waved my hand to say hi to the members, Jiu and Yoohyeon were very surprised to see me, they didn't expect me to be back to Korea so fast~ Dami smiled and asked:"Ddo watso yo?" (came here again?) "Nae!"I answered, then passed her my letter and chocolate~ The chocolate was orange flavour, since they answered my question of what fruits they like to eat in a radio program. "Ida pua yo."(see you later.) Dami told me that before following the members entered the KBS building. When it was gathering time, we MINX fans lined up and let the fan manager stamped on our attendance card. After stamping, I checked the attendance cards of some of the fans who came a lot, and thankfully............ I still TOP5~ Music Bank started, I felt so happy to be able to watch the LOVE SHAKE stage again after so many days~ Even though I was very tired since I spent the night before on the airplane, today was very happy and satisfying for me~ 2nd August 2015 (Sunday) I missed the pre-recording of MINX at SBS Inkigayo................. No........... I should say that everyone missed the pre-recording............ Okay, according to the notice at fan cafe, there was no pre-recording and only live broadcast. After MINX arrived at SBS, then suddenly they were asked to pre-record, so we fans were not being informed.......... Well..... at least we went into watch the live broadcast~ At that time we still didn't expect that....... it was the last music show that MINX attended............. After Inkigayo, friend J and me went go Gimpo Lotte Mall. For what? Of course for fansign event of MINX! I roughly remember that my seat number was no.4 or 5, anyway, the seat was at the first row almost center, thanks friend J for helping me to able to join this fansign~ From the fancam I took after receiving signatures, you can see that my seat was almost center, well........sorry for my bad recording skill.............
In the fancam, Yoohyeon asked me did I eat. Wow........ I straight away came here from Inkigayo, where got time to eat............. So I answered no, then Yoohyeon showed me her worrying facial expression~ At that day, I also brought a present from my country for Dami. The gift was a Minion which cosplaying as Spiderman~ Since my number was very front, so once MINX arrived, we have to line up at beside to be prepared for receiving signatures~ The signing sequence was same as previous time, from the oldest member to the youngest. So, first member was Jiu. Jiu asked me did I come for Inkigayo just now while start signing on the album page. I said yes,but........... MINX already did pre-recording so I felt like a bit lost...... Jiu quickly explained that they were being informed by SBS very suddenly also, so not enough time to inform all the fans. I realized that Jiu wrote Oppa at the behind of my name~ Next was Sua. Sua asked me when am I going back to my own country. I answered that I will stay until your birthday, (10 days later) she was very happy~ Next was Siyeon. Few days(?) ago, MINX did a reply event at their official twitter, and Siyeon replied to me that she is always readied to sing for fans. So I asked her can she sings today? Siyeon said okay, she will sings a little near the end of the fansign event~ Then Siyeon asked me don't go back to my home country, Of course I said no to her~ Next was Yoohyeon. After Yoohyeon signed on the album page, she used her hand to cover the message that she is writing, didn't allow me to read it............. Yoohyeon even chose the corner of the page to write:
Until now I still think that Yoohyeon is still quite 4D......... Last member was Dami who I prepared a gift for her~ Dami told me that the chocolate that I gave her on Friday, she put it into refrigerator first then only eat it~ Dami also told me that the chocolates I gave her last time before I left Korea, she shared it with the members~ While we were talking, I was very be careful holding the Spiderminion plush toy, kept it below the horizontal level of the table, didn't let Dami to see it. Then I started:"Yibon ae ddo niga choa haneun character kajiwo watsoyo......" (This time I again brought a character that you like.......) Dami looked a bit excited, and I continued:"Chinanbon fanmeeting dae malhaet channayo.... Luffy gua......?" (Last time during fan meeting you mentioned before........... Luffy and.....?) I stopped and let Dami answered it. Dami smiled and answered:"Minion." “Heol! Spiderman anni aeyo? Manghaetsoyo!”(What! Not Spiderman? I am doomed.....) I pretended like I was shocked and bought the wrong character, and I slight lifted the Spiderminion which I holding it upside down, so that Dami can only saw the leg of the Spiderminion, and made her thought that I did buy a Spiderman for her~ Dami was very kind and said:"Aniyo. Spiderman do choa haeyo~" (Is okay, I like Spiderman too.) Dami ah.......... you are so kind~~~~ I shooked my head, and said:"Andwae yo. Telriot se nika porio ya haeyo." (No way, I bought the wrong one, I will just throw it away.) Dami quickly replied:"Chu saeyo." (Please give me.) "Objeolsu obseo yo........" (Alright...........) Then I slowly lifted the Spiderminion, and revealed it by saying:"Spiderman..........aniyo~ Spiderminion!!" (Spiderman........... nope~ Spiderminion!!) I lifted the Spiderminion upside down up in the air, and let Dami clearly saw that it was acutally Minion which cosplaying as Spiderman~ The Spiderminion were hanging upside down in front of Dami, wasn't that a memorable scene in the movie? "Ohh!" Dami was very surprised, the staffs beside her also surprised. Dami was known to be a cool person, whatever happened also won't have huge reaction, so it was very priceless to see her surprised facial expression~ So worth it~ However, Dami only hold Spiderminion for 10 seconds, then the staff took it away and kept it in a box............. After done receiving the signatures, I went back to my seat, and recorded some fancams:
Yeah right, I changed seat, I shifted to Dami's side· Actually........ I recorded more than 20 fancams, but since my recording skill was very bad and the video very shaky, so I am not going to share it here~ Somehow, I even considered before to just put all the fancams into private mode, but since there are not a lot of MINX fancams, so I decided to just keep it open to the public........ After half the fans received signatures, I turned my head and looked around. I saw Dami's brother standing outside the gate(?), so I went to talk to him. Originally Dami's brother just planning to come here and have a look only, but after persuading(?) by me, he went to get himself a fansign ticket, then went to receive signatures~ A total of 100 tickets, not even sold out after the fansign started, now you know MINX was so unpopular last time............ T_T When Dami's brother receiving signatures from other members, I observed that the reactions of the members were very happy and talked to him a lot, until that time only I 100% confirmed that that guy is actually Dami's brother~ Anyway, since I was sitting in front of Dami, so while Dami's brother receiving signatures from his sister, his whole body blocked me, so I couldn't see Dami's reaction. After receiving the signatures, Dami's brother walked pass me and gave a pat on my shoulder, told me that Dami was very thankful to me~ After all the fans received signatures, the members took turn to hold the mic and talked, Siyeon also took the chance to sing MINX's ballad song "Na do no chorom".
Eventually, Siyeon forgotten the lyrics during halfway of the singing............ Also, the first 10 seconds of this fancam is funny, Yoohyeon's toes sneaked out from the table, and the staff kiced her toes back~
The fansign event ended happily~ For the next few days, MINX has no schedule at all, the only schedule which showed on the schedule table at their fan cafe, was the recording for MBC Idol Sports Event at 10th August..............
