For me who like girl groups only, this episode is just like a heaven~
Totally five performances of girls teams~

The theme for the 2nd performance round is Formation Battle,
the girls were divided into 5 teams and competed among themselves.

The team which won NO.1 will get 10 thousand benefits,
the team which ended last will have 0 benefit.

According to the role model songs that the girls filled in a survey,
5 songs were chosen and reproduced by music director from YG.

When forming the team.....
The current TOP9 have the chance to pick the song which they wanted to perform first,
then they will choose their own teammates.

Of course,
in order to avoid all TOP9 concentrating at one team,
so maximum 3 TOP9 for one song.

So the girls were all gathered at one place,
prepared to pick song and teammates!

First song is "Genie" by SNSD.

She almost took all the screen times for this team.

In this episode,
the part where Baek Hyeonju failed at audition,
but at last day of audition she went to YG Boss and asked one more chance was shown.

Also,
Baek Hyeonju was in charged for choreography for this song,
the dance trainer asked her to in charge since her company boss is choreographer.
LOL

When recording the song,
Kim Yoonji proved that her vocal is good~

The girls didn't wear high heels when practicing,
so didn't perform well on the stage.

Since each team took turns to choose one team member,
the faster you were chosen that means you are good enough that everyone wanted you to be teammate.
The slower you get chosen,
means you are not good enough for the team,
this is a saddening truth.

The saddest one, was the last one member left:

Poor Shin Jiwon...............

Shin Jiwon lost her confident, didn't perform well during singing practice.
Teacher Suran clearly pointed out that the whole team members sang well,
only one of them didn't!
Yeah, is Shin Jiwon.

Shin Jiwon practiced until feeling mad at herself and started to cry.

The holy leader Kim Minkyung quickly came to her.

Hyunjin was the one who chose all team members,
so she felt that she had some responsibility and helped Jiwon to practice.

This episode finally showed the audition clip of Kim Minjoo,
I only realized that Favourite joined MIXNINE too......

Since this song is kind of sexy concept,
so the cutie Jang Hyeokyeong and Hwang Jimin both faced some difficulties,
but they practiced hard.

Shin Ryujin proved that she not only can dance, but also can rap and sing.
All her teammates started to have a feeling that is hard for them to beat Shin Ryujin~

so Lee Hyangsuk became a dictator and can choose whichever members she likes.

She also knew that the song is cute,
so her first choice was Yukika.

This is Yukika:

Since MIXNINE started,
Yukika realized that she didn't have much screen times since she didn't appeal herself.
So this time she finally decided to step out, to take charge of important parts of the song.

But teacher Suran was not satisfied with Yukika's singing,
so some of the chorus parts were given to Shin Jiyoon instead.

Then the ending part of the song,
Yukika also didn't sing good enough,
instead Kim Dayoon did it quite well.

So teacher Suran asked two of them to practice for a day,
the next day only make decision.

Yukika quickly found previous ending genie Im Sohyeon to help her out.

The next day,
Yukika and Kim Dayoon did the ending battle!!
