I reached Korea at 30th June Thursday, then next day early morning 6.30am I went to KBS to see SONAMOO entrance, then pre-record and live broadcast. Saturday we had Music Core pre-record and live broadcast. Sunday we had pre-record for Inkigayo at around 4am, then around 4pm was mini fan meeting. Monday was recording of Girls Spirit, from 2pm until 10pm. Tuesday we had pe-record of The Show, for that day and the following week, then live broadcast. Wednesday Show Champion no chairs, every audience needs to stand to watch the live broadcast. Thursday M Countdown also no chairs, I stood for the whole live broadcast again. Friday Music Bank again pre-record and live broadcast, I even went there at 6.30am to see the entrance.... I saw Minjae everyday for the past 8 days, even though I was happy, but I also felt quite tired....... Since Saturday not going Music Core, so I was expecting that I finally can rest at the daytime, then at night only go to SONAMOO fansign event which was just one station away. However........... Suddenly we received news from twitter that Girls Spirit will record some busking events at Saturday, Minjae's busking will be around 5pm, luckily the place is within 5 minutes walk from where I staying~ Even though the place is near, but in order to secure good viewing seats, so my friends and me went to the busking venue at 3.30pm. Aiks.............. Will be another tiring day........... Since it was around summer, so we all waited until sweating, but yeah at least we secured the seats at the most front row, slightly right to the center~ My position: (No need waste time watch this fancam, you can look for better quality videos at Youtube.....)
I still remember that while the JTBC staffs busying preparing to record, the song "Maria" was kept playing, so we all thought that Minjae will sing that song later............ That's why after Minjae appeared, when she asked us to guess which song she going to sing, we all shouted "Maria!! Maria!", and turned out that we were totally wrong LOL (The "Maria" was sung by APRIL Jinsol by the way~) After Minjae finished singing two songs, other SONAMOO members came out from the car and joined her, they performed "I LIKE U TOO MUCH" together, then only the recording was done. Before leaving, Minjae took two bouquets of flowers from me and my friend T. (I was so stupid.........should have given her during fansign later...........) The fansign event will starts at 8pm, so we still have more than 1 hour to spare. I quickly went back to take a shower, bought simple meal from convenient shop, then only departed to the fansign venue. Even though my memories with SONAMOO articles already chapter 11, but I only went to their fansign once only, so yeah....... I felt excited for it~~~ I reached the fansign venue. WOW.......... My original number was at 1st row, quite middle, but since Minjae sat near the corner, so I exchanged seat with my friend, and I retreated to 2nd row. Finally my turn to receive signatures. The sequence was still same as last time, Started with the leader Sumin, then Minjae..... at last was maknae Newsun. So first was Sumin. Sumin greeted me with her sunshine smile. Wow............ So beautiful~~~~ While signing, Sumin reminded me to upload her photo which taken by me at the morning KBS entrance. I nodded and said okay, will upload later. Of course........ I didn't do it............. Because......... I did take some pics of Sumin......... but the problem is........... My shitty photo taking skill........... None of the photo turned out well............. Since next member was Minjae, so once the space in front of her is emptied, I quickly ended conversation with Sumin, and moved to Minjae. Minjae: "Oppa, maen nal bolsu itsoso joa yo~" (Oppa, is good to be able to see you everyday~) Minjae ah.......... Me too.......... I am glad that I can see you everyday too~~~ Minjae : "Pyeonji ilkoso him na yo~" (I always received strength by reading your letters~) For the past 7 days, everyday I went to recording of music shows, I always passed my hand-written letter to fan manager, and my effort was worthy~ Minjae : "Oenjae ka yo?" (When are you leaving?) I said 18th July, Minjae said:"Malaysia ae kajima yo~" (Please don't go back to Malaysia~) Isn't it too soon......... If Minjae said it one or two days before I leave, then yeah I might delay and stay longer at Korea..... But now....... still too early........ Next was D.ana. Since I spent too much time with Minjae, so I was rushed here, I only had time to praise D.ana that her long hair looks good, then I was forced to move........ Next was Nahyun~ Nahyun saw me and said:"Orae manni ae yo!" (Long time no see!) When I was thinking that Nahyun's long time meant the period between now and sports event last month........ Nahyun continued:"You came during Cushion promotion, right?" Godlike memory!! SONAMOO members all did have good memory! While signing, Nahyun kept mumbling that my name looked very familiar, felt like saw my name a lot before. So I said... maybe you saw my name at fan cafe? (Since I always wrote letter to Minjae at official fan cafe.) But Nahyun shook her head, and said:"Anin de."(No.) She said not from fan cafe. ?? Impossible you saw my name elsewhere?? So weird?? So I moved to next member while full of question marks on my head......... Next was Euijin~~~ While signing, Euijin said:"Limbo chal hae yo."(Your did good in Limbo.) She also asked how can I be so good in Limbo. I answered maybe because I have the habit of stretching~ Euijin said:"Namja raso limbo chal haki. Daebak." (You are a guy but still so good in Limbo, wow.) I felt so happy by listening to the praising from Euijin~ Next was High D. High D said that she remembers me for being very active in sports event. I laughed and said I was over active........ Now thinking back also felt a bit of embarrassing...... Last was Newsun. Newsun said:"Malaysia ae kok kalgae yo." (I will definitely go to Malaysia.) I listened wrongly and thought she said Malaysia ae kot kalgae yo. (I will go to Malaysia soon.) Then I kept wondering............ What? SONAMOO coming to Malaysia soon? How come I didn't receive any news of it? I didn't have chance to ask for further clarification from Newsun since the staff asked me to leave.... Anyway, the fansign event was good since I was able to talk to all the members after so long time, just that........ Nahyun and Newsun made me confused~ (Well.... my fault of didn't listen clearly what Newsun said.........) I went back to my seat, and started to use the camera I borrowed from friend D to take some pics. I remember there was a time when Sumin waiting for the next fan to come and sign, she accidentally yawned with her mouth wide opened. Then she asked us did we take the pic of her yawning, friend D said yes, then Sumin laughed shyly~~~ Sumin so cute~~~~~~~~~~~ After signing for 100 fans, the members took turn to hold the mic and talk, Nahyun's talk was funny though:
Nahyun: "How come I felt like some of you disappeared for very long time? Like disappeared to other places then only come back? I knew all! Momomomomo! I knew everything! How could you all did this to us!" (Nahyun was complaining about those fans who went to see WJSN when SONAMOO was hiatus~) How did she find out? Maybe she stalked twitter of her fans? Or maybe her friend in WJSN told her? Anyway, Nahyun just pretended to be angry, at last she still thanked everyone for coming with a soft voice~ But still........so funny~ The fansign event was good~ Next day, I didn't go Inkigayo, only have fansign at night, finally I can take a full rest during daytime~~~ Thanks for reading. If you want to search for previous chapters, feel free to visit My KPOP Memories Timeline ~ 19th September 2015 (Saturday) Finally it has been a year after MINX debut, so a fanmeeting for first year debut anniversary was held at a cafe, and MINX members will become one day cafe staffs~ And me....... Of course I went~~~ Well........ Actually I did hesitate since I came to Korea a few times already in year 2015, but after thinking that the gap between their debut and LOVE SHAKE comeback was so long, and next comeback might be that long too, I decided to go~ Well...... At that time I didn't expect that it will be MINX last fanmeeting......... Luckily I chose to go~ The fanmeeting time was at 11am (If I remember correctly.......), the seats arrangement was first come first serve, so at early 9am, Singapore friend C, Taiwan friend J and me already arrived and queued up in a line at the downstairs of the cafe. Do you think we were too early? Well..........we were not the earliest even though we reached 2 hours earlier!! When we reached, there were two Japanese female fans already there lining up! So early!! Until 11am, fan manager finally came to us and gave us number. When it was time, we went up the staircases one by one, and entered the cafe which located at 2nd floor of the building. My view while lining up and waiting to order drinks near the counter:
Sua, Siyeon and Dami were near the glass door, preparing to guide us to go up to 3rd floor. As for Jiu and Yoohyeon? They were in charged of the counter! When it was my turn, Jiu was standing behind the counter, welcomed me with her pretty smile~~~ Wow~~~ I willing to go this cafe and buy coffees 3 times a day if Jiu actually working there~ While ordering drinks, Jiu joked that she is the boss of the cafe LOL While waiting for the actual cafe staffs to make the drinks, we talked to Yoohyeon and Jiu~ (I was expecting that they will make the coffee by themselves.......-_-) Holding a coffee drink, I walked toward the glass door but only Sua was there......... Where did Siyeon and Dami go?? T_T I said hi to Sua, talked a bit, then went up the 3rd floor. 3rd floor was the actual place for fanmeeting, so my friends and me quickly secured our seats at the first front row~ Then................ we sat there and drank the coffee........ For at least half an hour, we only sitting there and drank coffee while watching the fans came up one by one, and sat behind us...... SO BORING...................... After that only I knew that Siyeon and Dami were at downstairs to greet the fans who were lining up at behind, no wonder there was only Sua left at the glass door....... Comparing with only 17fans came to MINX 100th day debut fanmeeting, today we had around 50 fans, so yeah, great improvement~ (for more details, please read chapter1~) After all the fans gathered at 3rd floor, MINX members all came up and the fanmeeting officially started! Since many years have passed, so I couldn't remember all the details, but we spent most of the time for Q&A session. I recorded some fancams, one of it was aegyo by Sua:

Next, my question was picked. The same question as during their 100th day debut fanmeeting, Yoohyeon's favorite YAZA Time~~~ During YAZA Time the identity of the members were totally reversed, Dami became the oldest, while Jiu became the maknae, so Jiu always the biggest victime in YAZA Time:

The morning call was so MINX............. During the fanmeeting, luckily my seat was very close to Dami~ I even asked her to do a wink:
Ooops..........my hands were shaky............-_-) I only asked for a wink, but Dami gave me double winks~~~ And she did it perfectly, not like two months ago, when she was very shy and to do a wink was like so challenging for herself~ (For more details, please read chapter3) The last session of fanmeeting, we went up one by one, to high-touch with the members. Then it was time to say good bye:
That's all............ MINX debut 1 year anniversary fanmeeting, which was also their last official fanmeeting...................... For the following year (2016), MINX didn't have any comeback, but they went to perform a lot at WAPOP. (Ahh.........I miss WAPOP so much..........) I did go to WAPOP to see them for one time only at year 2016. Then year 2017, DREAMCATCHER! Of course, I didn't go to Korea for the first half of year 2017, so I missed most of their activites. When I finally got to meet them, it was almost the end of the PREQUEL promotion............ And that, will be another chapter~ Thanks for reading. If you want to search for previous chapters, feel free to visit My KPOP Memories Timeline ~ 4th July 2016 (Monday) Before I start to write about the recording, let's me explain a bit how to join the recording of GIRLS SPIRIT. There were two ways to join: 1) SMS random drawing (if I remember correctly) 2) Follow the official fanclub to enter. As a foreigner, we can just give up the option of SMS random drawing, this is because a verified phone number must be used. Also, too many people will opt for SMS random drawing. WHY? This was because even though INFINITE member Sungkyu was one of the MC, but JTBC didn't prepare any fan seats for INFINITE fans, so all the INFINITE fans could only tried SMS random drawing to join the recording to see Sungkyu. So yeah........ I followed SONAMOO official fanclub of course~ But it was quite hard too..... Since JTBC only provided 10 fan seats to each singer, so we needed to register ourselves at fan cafe as soon as the registration time opened. ONLY FIRST 10 FANS WHO REGISTERED!! Luckily, I was one of the first 10 fans so I am safe, but my two other friends were not lucky enough, so ended up they went to LABOUM or CLC. The gathering time for recording was 2pm. (If I remember correctly.) We took subway to go Ilsan and reached 30 minutes later, and JTBC was kind enough to provide a shuttle bus for us to go to the recording place from the subway station~ Around 2pm, we all lined up with our respective fan club. The fan manager checked each person's identity card or passport, and saw two new faces in the line, so she tested them by asking them to tell the names of all SONAMOO members. They said they only know Minjae............ Hmmm............ Anyway the fan manager still allowed them to enter with us after warning them. We waited until 3pm only entered the recording studio. Before entering, we all received a contract paper to sign and pass up, to agree that we will not expose any details of the show to the public~ We entered the studio, it was quite spacious and cozy~ Those who were picked from SMS random drawing were arranged to sit in front, where the long chairs didn't have the back, but the good thing was they can vote. As for us who followed the official fan club, we were arranged to sit at behind, the chairs were nicer by having the back and soft cushion, but we were quite far away from the stage.......... I remembered that my luck was good, my seat was exactly at the center, facing the center of the stage~ After everyone settled down, a Gag man came out to warm up the atmosphere for 15 minutes. Then, a little pass 4pm, the 5 judges, 2 MCs and 6 competitors came onto the stage, to be readied for recording. Why only 6 competitiors?? There were total 12 competitors and divivded into Group A and B equally, so when Group A is competing, all 6 competitors from Group A will just stay at the waiting room to get ready, while the 6 competitors will come out and sit at the corner of the stage to watch the competition~ Finally, the recording officially started~ First was opening talk between MCs and judges, usually when we watched from TV, the opening talk lasted for 10 to 15 minutes only, but GUESS WHAT?? They actually talked for almost an hour!!! Most of it were edited out in the actual broadcast!!! We were all bored and tired of listening to such a long talk........... Only the two new girls that followed us to enter who couldn't even tell the name of SONAMOO members, they were so excited to see Sungkyu, whatever Sungkyu did also responded with very big reaction. Obviously, the girls were INFINITE fans.......... The worse thing was, later when the competitors actually singing, the two girls gave no reaction at all, like a stone, not even a smile on the face, so they ended up scolded by camera man~ I know you wanted to come to see your oppa, but only 10 fan seats were provided for us, totally not enough already, please don't steal our seats.......... Anyway, the opening talk lasted until 5pm........ Then the flow of recording was like this: 1) The singer came out to sing (5 mins) 2) Judges commenting (15 mins) 3) Change stage (1 min) 4) Another singer came out to sing 6 singers, so the recording ended at 7pm~ At that time, Minjae sang this song:
She received the highest mark in the group~~~ 7pm to 7.15pm was resting time, we were provided with a bottle of mineral water and a bun. At 7.15pm, everyone re-entered the studio, to get ready to record for next episode which another group will be singing. Yeah right....... We recorded two episodes in one day~ Before recording, another Gag man came out to warm up the atmosphere. This time, he chose a few single guys and girls came up to the stage to play games. At last, only one guy and one girl left. The guy was asked to kneel down with one knee to get the contact of the girl, in front of so many people~ Then he ended up being rejected by the girl, so sad................... Then, recording started again with the boring opening talk. I think JTBC realized that they don't need to waste so much time for opening talk, so it ended within 30 minutes, and moved on. This time since Minjae's group not singing, so 6 of them sat at the corner of the stage to watch the competition. Of course, we grabbed the chance and interacted with Minjae~ showing heart to each other, knock our shoulders and said we are tired and some other interactions~ Anyway, when there is someone singing on the stage, we will concentrate on the singing, only when the judges started commenting, we will have some small interactions~ Until around 10pm, the recording finally ended. We walked out from the recording place, and felt like we just came out from the jail...... I met up with friends and together sat the bus provided by JTBC to the subway station, and took subway to go back. A happy but suffering day finally ended~ However, we couldn't just relax and rest for one whole day, because there is SBS The Show next day~ Everyday also got something going on, SONAMOO fans were so busy LOL Thanks for reading.
